Congratulations to Caroline Martin from Hardin Valley Academy. Caroline is the recepient of a $2,000 scholarship and will be attending the University of Tampa majoring in art therapy and nursing. Caroline wrote about her older sister's battle with cancer and how this shaped her life and how she coped through art, thus leading to her desire to study art therapy. Congratulations Caroline, your kindness and caring will make the world a better place!
Congratulations to Davyn Mengeling from Hardin Valley Academy. Davyn is a 2023 recipient of a $2,000 scholarship. Davyn wrote about his personal battle with a very rare cancer and how it motivated him to never give up. Davyn will be attending the University of Tennessee majoring in computer science. Sarah Parish of Hardin Valley Academy received a $500 book scholarship. Sarah will be attending the University of Tennessee and is an accomplished musician who will be majoring in music education. In her essay, Sarah wrote about multiple family members who have battled cancer. Best wishes Sarah!

MJ wrote about a close family member's battle with cancer and how he worked multiple shifts while attending high school to help his family.
